We were really pleased to team up with long-time friend and local electrician Andy Grattage and his apprentice Eve to complete a 6kW installation in Tavistock. Originally from Nottingham, Andy moved down to Devon a few years ago where he runs a successful electrical business with the assistance of Eve. When one of his regular customers enquired about PV, Andy got Electrikcollective involved and we headed down to Tavistock to do the work. Eve was able to get experience working on a solar panel install and learnt a lot. For me, it was great to be working with another women on the roof; there are still far too few of us in the business.
