Lovely feedback from V after installing  16 Phonosolar Onyx 250W modules with a Power Diverter in the Vale of Belvoir

J and I would just like to say thank you for all your help before during and after the installation of the solar pv panels. As you know, I was very concerned about our relatively new slate roof however, I really needn’t have worried as Paul was so careful and meticulous when preparing the roof for the installation of the panels. We found the whole process, from when you first came to talk to us to the completion of the work, highly professional – nothing was too much trouble, even when we had trouble getting our heads round some of it, you answered all our questions fully and we felt total confidence in both yourselves and the standard of work that you did.We would both fully recommend your services to anyone who was thinking of going ‘solar’ and would be more than happy for any future customers to either view the work or talk to us.

Great feedback from our customer Mr V, Grantham who had 3.00kW of Phonosolar 250W black framed Onyx panels with Solar Edge Optimisers to combat shading issues installed over an east/ south split in September 2013

“I was interested in solar power before I came across Electrikcollective and had had three quotes, one from a national firm that gave a quote without even visiting!

Electrikcollective were recommended to me by a colleague at work. I asked them to visit and give me a quote.

I found them friendly and thoroughly professional and relatively jargon free. They answered my many questions in detail at the time and over the 2-3 weeks following the arrival of the quote. I visited their home to see a system in action and they answered more questions! The quote was very competitive. They struck me as very reliable/trustworthy and being greatly committed to green issues. The level of the quote and their reliability encouraged my acceptance of the quote – their commitment to green matters was a bonus.

The work was completed expeditiously without fuss or mess and the paperwork, of which there seems to be a great deal, was presented for me to sign.

I would have no hesitation in recommending them and have done so.”

Great feedback from our 3rd Hibaldstow solar installation, featuring Enecsys Micro Inverters

In our case, the decision to install photovoltaic (solar) panels was taken fairly quickly. Our neighbour had had PV  panels installed fairly recently. We were shown the installation and the paperwork provided by Electrik Collective Ltd and discussed some of the issues involved in their installation.

After a phone call to Paul and Helena at Electrik Collective, they came promptly to assess and survey our house .There were potential problems of shading caused by chimney stacks and the steepness and complexity of the roof.

Initially, therefore, it seemed that we may have needed to install a relatively low output system. Fortunately, because of recent reductions in the cost of micro-inverters,Paul and Helena were able to design a more powerful and flexible system, which circumvented many of the shadowing problems, at a reasonable cost.

The aesthetically pleasing installation was done in the Autumn of 2012 to a high standard but with the minimum of disruption to us. The whole process took only a few weeks to complete.

At all times, we were kept informed about problems which arose and were fully involved with discussions about the planning and installation. There was no hint of pressure on us to make any particular decision.

We have been surprised by the amount of power generated, even at this time of the year, and are very happy with the way we have been treated by Electrik Collective. We are happy to recommend Paul and Helena to others.

Feedback from our customers in the High Peak who had a 3.92 kW system installed in July.

“The system is working really well – 21Kwh was generated yesterday, it will be interesting to see what it does on a dull day.  (17th July 20011)

The best day was 28 July when we generated 21.92Kwh. The worst day was yesterday, 6 August, when we generated 6.79 Kwh. (7th Aug 2011)

Feedback from our customer in Balderton, Newark wh0 had a 2.25 kW system installed at the end of July.

“Solar Panels or Photo Voltaic Panels as I subsequently learned.  Electrikcollective completed a survey of my property gave me 3 different options to what was suitable and fitted the system within the month.

The team of 2; Paul and Ben were courteous and very professional.  Left alone they had the job done within 3 days (including bad weather).  Paul explained how the system worked, completed all the necessary paperwork and I am now successfully exporting electricity to the grid.

A number of friends and neighbours have all entered my loft to see how my mini power station works and are suitably impressed.

The system has now been running a month and noticing that the electric meter was going backwards.  I notified Eo-on and was told that due to the large number of customers signing up for PV panels then they could no longer afford to change all meters.  Not sure how long this will go on for but I have kept readings.

Just remember to set all your timers so that the washer etc comes on during the day!

If in doubt; go for it.  It has got to save you money in the long run.”  15th August 2011

Feedback from our customer in Spalding, who had 2kW of Amerisolar panels and an SMA Inverter installed just before the 12 December deadline.

Yes, I have no complaints about the system or the service that you provided. Right from my initial enquiry, your site visit and subsequent quotes, through to the final agreement and installation I have always found you very informative and willing to go that extra step to clarify aspects for me. With the change in timescale for getting the higher feed in tariff being moved you were upfront about the impact this may have due to the shortage of supply so that I was apply to make an informed final decision. As a friend wrote in my Xmas card this year “here’s to 2012 and lots of sunny days”

Positive comments from our Long Bennington customer.

“Could not recommend Electrik Collective Ltd more highly. Their installation of solar PV panels on the roof of my house was first class. Their work ethic was extremely professional with all work completed to schedule with the minimum of disturbance and no fuss. Importantly, they took time to explain the technology and were always available to answer any questions during the installation process. In sum, a most impressive and friendly team.”

We received this very positive feedback from our customer in Sedgebrook, near Grantham, who had a 3.36 kW system fitted in September 2011, comprising of 14 black framed Sanyo Hit modules and an SMA inverter

‘We thank you for all the arrangements you made whilst providing us with our PV system. We also thank you for the efficient manner in which the team (including Ben) installed the panels; (in extremely difficult conditions- strong winds and intense showers), and in the short period of time due to us being away from home before and after the installation.

You will not be surprised to hear that in the first week of operation,(even though the weather was unusually cloudy)the system has produced 37.76kWp. As you will realise, we are pleased with this result, and cannot thank you enough for the guidance regarding that correct assembly of components, explanation of the current regulations and direction regarding positioning of the components in our property that you gave throughout the whole process.’
